Multi-Level Approval Chains

Approval chains are configured per asset. Low-value consumables are released instantly. High-value or regulated equipment requires a configured chain of authorised sign-offs before it leaves the register.

A staff member needs a portable medical device for an off-site visit. They scan the QR label and submit a checkout request. The system automatically routes it to their department head for first approval. Because the equipment is high-value, a second approval from the relevant authority is also required. Both receive a notification and approve with a single tap. The staff member is notified, collects the equipment, and the full chain (timestamps, approvers, and decisions) is permanently recorded in the audit log.
